Agentype ("we", "our", or "us") operates a software-as-a-service platform that helps real estate agents manage leads, send follow-up emails, and schedule property viewings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our service at agentype.ai.
Agentype uses third-party AI services to generate content on your behalf. When you use AI-powered features (follow-up emails, listing copy, viewing messages, lead-listing matching, email classification), relevant data from your account — including lead names, email addresses, notes, listing details, and email thread snippets — is sent to our AI provider for processing.
Our current AI provider is Google (Gemini API). Data sent to the AI provider is used solely to generate a response for your specific request. We do not permit our AI provider to use your data to train or improve their models.
We select AI providers that offer commercially reasonable data protection commitments. You can review Google's AI data practices at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.

Data obtained through Google APIs is not used for advertising, is not shared with third parties for their independent use, and is not used to train AI models. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your data is stored securely in our database hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Account data (leads, listings, automations, follow-ups) is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Usage and session analytics are retained in aggregated daily form for up to 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted.

Agentype is based in the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the service, you consent to this transfer. We apply the same data protection standards regardless of where you are located.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law. Notification will be sent to the email address associated with your account and, where appropriate, posted within the application.
We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication and basic web analytics cookies provided by Vercel to measure aggregate page views and performance. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We do not engage in cross-site tracking.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice within the application. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
